Miss Universe Organization is an American organization that arranged Annual international beauty pageant every year. The event is aired in about 190 countries, and there’s a hype of the event in the whole world.
The miss universe title was used for the first time back in 1926 by International Pageant of Pulchritude and then it was held every year. Due to the unfavorable circumstances during the Great Depression, the show was discontinued and later on due to World War II; it came to an end in 1935.
Goal of the Organization:
The Organization works for inculcating the confidence in women. With this confidence, they can achieve their personal best. The organization believes in the real power of women and that a woman can make significant changes. These changes do not only have an impact on her society, but they have an impact worldwide. They encourage the women to be herself because they can make the world a better place.
Participation and Structure of Organization
In the contest, any country can register itself where a local organization or person has to buy the rights and has to pay the franchise fee for that purpose. Purchasing the right gives the right to the company to use the logo, image and brand, and other copyrighted stuff. The number of participating countries is not consistent every year; instead, it varies.
The age requirement for the contestant is 18 to 28. Miss Teen USA is another pageant, and for this, the candidate must be at least 14 years old. Adding to that she should be less than 19 years in age.
Rules of The Competition:
The candidate for the title must be confident enough to answer the questions. It is essential that she acknowledges the values of the brand and the responsibilities that come with the title. She must be able to define her vision and core values. Every competition starts with interviews where the candidates have to appear in a swimsuit or some athletic wear. The preliminary events are quite important as all the candidates have to make an impression on the judges and the audience. This is because it’s their first time on stage and they have to be competitive enough to make the first appearance worth it.
